If, at any time, you find that you're unable to keep an appointment, please notify us as soon as you can. Delays.... Occasionally we encounter unexpected delays or emergencies. When this occurs, you will be informed so that you may reschedule your visit if necessary. After Hours and Emergency Care..... A physician is available for emergencies at all times (including nights, weekends, and holidays). If an emergency occurs during office hours, please call our office at (706) 453-4945. If the emergency occurs after hours, call the ambulance at 911 or call the office at 453-4945 and leave a message with the answering service. There is a doctor on duty at all local Hospital Emergency Rooms who can help you and notify, upon your request, our Family Medical Associates physician on call. And if any further treatment is needed, we will help coordinate it.
